Target Try-on: Beginning of Fall 2019

Can’t believe it’s that time already, but here is my first fall try-on of 2019! I wanted to get this post out early because I have a feeling a few of these pieces will sell out pretty quickly! Although I do love summer, these outfits have me excited for the upcoming season of sweater weather, apple orchards, and everything pumpkin spice!

Shop Target-

1) This dress immediately caught my eye! The dress can be worn alone or with a jean jacket in the summer and then paired with a cardigan and booties in the fall! I loved pairing it with this cozy cardigan I found.

Dress - True to size, wearing a medium. (Meant to be fitted)

Cardigan- True to size, wearing a medium.

2) What is more of a staple for fall/winter than a few good cardigans? I absolutely love the color of this one! It also comes in a great neutral beige color. This long sleeve tee and jeans with also be great basics for the cooler weather. The tee is nice and thin which I love for layering.

Cardigan- All they had was an XL, but it seems true to size. I would’ve gotten a medium.

Long Sleeve Tee- True to size, wearing size medium.

Jeans- True to size, wearing size 8.

Shoes- Sized down .5

3) This is the dress of my fall dreams. It is the perfect color and would be SO cute for fall pictures! I can’t wait to style this for y’all.

Dress- Sized down to a small.

4) In need of the perfect fall plaid?! Look no further! This one has all of the orange/rust/brown tones and can be worn with so many different outfits! I paired it with the same cardigan, jeans, and shoes as before.

Plaid shirt- True to size. Wearing large, needed medium. (Only plus size is available online right now, but I’m going to keep an eye out for when they put it online).

What's In My Hospital Bag

It’s finally that time! With 3 weeks or less until baby arrives, its time to make sure we have our hospital bags packed and ready to go. I’d consider myself somewhat of a minimalist when it comes to hospital bag packing. I like to be prepared, however a lot of the lists I see people make seem a little crazy! After going through this once before, I’ve come up with a list of what I actually need to bring, and what I can just leave at home. Hopefully this is helpful to some of you expecting little ones soon or those of you preparing for the future! I will link the exact products I’m taking for those wanting to know.

My Bag:

- The Bag I’m using (My nana got this for me and it is PERFECT! So much room.)

-     Chapstick (Must have item!)

-     Nursing Bras/Nursing Pads

-     Robe/This sleep shirt (For walking the halls/pictures)

-     Dry Shampoo

-     Hair Brush (I have this Kristin Ess one from Target and it is the best!)/Hair Ties (Got these hair ties in New Orleans and have been loving them!! It’s also for a great cause.)

-     Makeup

-     Long Phone Charger (getting this 10ft. one from Amazon)

-     Going Home Outfit (Something comfy! I’m bringing leggings, this loose shirt, and these tennis shoes.)

-     Lanolin

-     “Granny” panties

-     Maxi Pads

-     Blanket

-     Toiletry Items: Lotion, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razor. Travel size recommended. (It’s nice having your own products when you’re finally allowed to shower!)

- Face wipes

-     Toothbrush/Toothpaste

- Flip-flops you can wear in the shower

I’ve seen people recommend taking your own bath towels and pillows, but in my opinion it’s just more unnecessary things you have to carry in and out. The ones the hospital provides are more than enough unless you are super particular! Another thing I personally don’t bring are extra pajamas for myself (besides the pair for pictures). When I had Harley, I just stayed in a hospital gown the whole time. This makes for less laundry for when you get home (the birthing process is messy), plus the hospital gown already has easy access for breast feeding and nurse check-ups. Of course, all of that is personal preference.

Husband’s Bag:

-     Phone Charger

-     2 Changes of Clothes (& socks, underwear, etc.)

-     Pajamas

-     Headphones

-     Blanket/sheet

-     Toothbrush/Toothpaste/Deodorant

Diaper Bag:

-     Diapers/Wipes/Rash Cream

-     Going Home Outfit (You’ll want more than one in case one doesn’t fit.)

-     Changing Pad

-     Hat

-     Socks

-     Swaddles/lightweight blankets

-     Pacifier/Pacifier Clip

-     Picture Props (if needed)

-     Pajamas/white onesies

-     Boppy Pillow/Boppy Cover (Very handy for breast feeding)

-     Car Seat
